I really don’t know that much about cars. I have just been told that I need to perform the proper maintenance (or have it done at a car repair shop) so that my transmission doesn’t wear out. I don’t really know anything about auto transmissions, or how to maintain them. So far I have just been bringing my car into the shop whenever I get a letter in the mail from the repair shop saying it is time for routine maintenance. But exactly what upkeep is needed to maintain the transmission, and how often is it needed? I really don’t want to spend more on my car than I have to.

Have you ever heard of turning algae into oil? Well, apparently you can. There are a bunch of researchers and scientists who are trying to make magical things happen when it comes to fuel efficiency as well as alternative fuel sources. Oh, the things that people think of when it comes to saving money, but just how much money will actually be saved once this idea takes effect (if it ever does)? If you think that you had it bad with fuel costs and prices, take a look at Europe! Our European neighbors are spending almost twice what we are spending in gasoline. But when will it ever get better? Even with the announcement of the hybrid vehicles over the years, people are still somewhat hesitant to jump on board because many feel that the technology is too new and there are too many "kinks" to be worked out. Additionally, if something goes wrong with a hybrid vehicle, who is going to fix it? Do most mechanics know about all of this new technology?

Johnson & Johnson has announced that iit is voluntarily recalling all lots of its 25 micrograms of Duragesic. The recalled patches may have an opening which could result in the leakage of the fentanyl gel inside. Direct exposure to fentanyl can cause breathing problems and overdose which can be fatal. i What to do if you find damaged patches: they should be flushed down the toilet and not be handled.If your skin is exposed to the gel,wash the area thoroughly with water only. All the recalled patches have an expiration date on or before Dec 2009. It is estimated that two patches out of every million included in the recall have the defect that causes the leak. One of the trucking jobs that doe sn involve driving is that of dispatcher. If you ask any driver they will tell you how valuable this job is. Dispatchers keep in contact with the drivers both over a radio and by phone usually a cell. Long haulers can get weather updates and alternate routes in case of problems on the road. Also independents Drivers will often have their local dispatcher scouting out the next job at the end of the run. They help to keep drivers on the road. They even are who a driver will call if an accident or illness occurs to get help in in unfamiliar areas.
