If you just mention bottle tree spirits to today’s society people may look at you really funny, at least in today’s world. There is really one simple reason that not many people know about, because it’s this quaint African-American practice that wards off the affect of evil spirits with bottles hanging on a tree! I know that sounds simplified, and it really is. Howevr the history of the bottle tree goes way back and it may take an hour to write everything about bottle trees. However the tradindion is strong in America, mainly in the south.

I bought a house that needed a remodeling of the kitchen. I started with the new flooring, then re-painting, then I started buying new major appliances, starting with the refrigerator. During my search, I found stainless steel refrigerators had the look I had in mind. So I found my dream refrigerator with all the room I could possibly need, a two-door, with a freezer on the left, and refrigerator on the right, and an ice-maker on the outside of the door. This refrigerator started the look for the rest of my kitchen, the stove, the dishwasher, and the smaller appliances. It was gorgeous when it was finished!
