Every since seeing My Fair Lady and hearing about the rain in Spain falling mainly on the plain, I have wanted to visit Spain. Then a few years ago I worked with a young man whose brother was working in Spain. The man and his girl friend would go over to visit every summer and come back with wondrous tales of their visits. We are now planning our first trip to Spain and have been researching hotels in Spain. There are so many good choices it is difficult to decide which ones to stay in. I am confident in finding good ones, no matter what route we take.

I was watching the Courbet show a few weeks ago and he had a special guest on that had developed the most amazing water filter system imaginable. Based on reverse osmosis systems, this man had developed a filtration system that would make anything that had water in it into a drinkable source. Imagine the possibilities; if you have a town full of mud in a third world country all you have to do is scoop the mud into the filter system and it will convert it into drinkable water. It works for salt water, sulphur water. literally anything that has water in it. Imagine what something like this can do for the world!

Do you remember the movie "The Transporter?" It didn’t do very well, and actually it has nothing to do with a car transporter, but the premises of both are fairly equal. In the movie, the lead character was able to transport himself to practically anywhere he needed to go. He was actually a hero to many people and to be honest, car-transporting companies are also heroes to many people. Let me explain what I’m referring to. The reason these companies exist is to help those people who are moving from one state to another get their vehicles to the new destination without having to drive what sometimes can be an extremely long trip. The transporters load up your car and will take it wherever you need it to go. This removes a huge burden because instead of having to find someone else to drive your car while you drive the Uhaul, or making multiple trips which just uses up valuable time, you can solely concentrate on getting yourself, and only yourself to the new place. So you see, car transporters are the heroes of the auto industry. And with gas prices the way they are, we really need a hero.

I had had one of those days that wore me down to the last nerve, that demanded almost more than I was able to give. The days were filled with activities, demands on my time, my mind and attention; there seemed there was no time for me, for an island of tranquility. My loving husband realized that I had been having quite a few of “those days”. He presented me with a most thoughtful gift – a week in Bali with Bali Villas. And we were leaving in 10 days. For some reason making arrangements for our sudden departure didn’t seem to be a chore, and knowing we got special rates for last minute reservations helped me relax even more

Just because you have been diagnosed with cancer does not mean that you should allow the medical profession to go their merry way with your treatment. You need to learn what they are doing, how they are going to do it and also study up on alternative cancer treatment. The more you know about what is going on in your body, the better you will be prepared to make the hard decisions. Start from the beginning, learn what the underlying causes of cancer really are. Then learn what has been done by others and what has worked. Your doctor is good but your treatment should be a team effort.
