After my husband and I got married, we bought a new home in South Carolina. Because we were near a a tropical storm district we wanted to make sure we protected ourselves. We needed a garage and a hobby barn and we decided to use Quonset steel buildings as our source. They were inexpensive, which surprised me because it’s such a durable and long lasting product. They each took two days to construct and came with a warranty. Now that we have the hobby barn and garage, my husband is always outside, working on projects and out of my hair. It was a great investment.

Consumer Reports has just recently came out with a new set of TV converter box reviews. These new converter box reviews are exactly the same as the previous ones in format but they include many more different TV converter boxes. The new reviews include more upper end models and also more of the bottom of the link cheap models. Consumer Reports still rated the Tivax STB-T9 as one of the top converter boxes but there were also some new converter boxes that were rated very highly. The Channel Master CM-7000 was not previously reviewed but was added as the converter box with the best overall picture quality.

I had the most bizarre traveling experience last week. I had been in Cairo for a conference on art and multiculturalism in the contemporary context, and my flight home went from Cairo to London, London to Los Angeles, and Los Angeles to Chicago, where I live. I had expected to spend the night at a hotel in California because of a long layover there. In fact, while I was in Cairo I was singing that song with the phrase hotel California. Instead, I sang hotels London as I spent three days there, wading my way through security issues. Apparently, a stint in Cairo and then traveling through several major U.S. cities is not okay with the U.S. government. At least they were nice hotels.
