My husband and I have a family of four boys, and all of them seemed to want their own motorcycles at the same time. Since my husband and I ride anyway, we did not have a problem teaching the boys. All of the boys were outfitted with Scorpion Motorcycle Helmets and learned how important they were much more quickly than planned. Two weeks after we started riding as a family, our oldest son flipped over the front of his bike when he stopped for a dog. Although he bounced, he wasn’t seriously hurt, thanks to his helmet. We consider that headgear the best money we ever spent.

My daughter and I spent most of the day watching Broadway musicals on DVD. The video shows don’t have the same impact as live performances, but she really likes them and for some reason she can never stay awake at the theater.
Her favorite is Annie. Every time we watch it she wants to pretend to be Annie, and wants me to be Daddy Warbucks. She also likes Mary Poppins and Guys and Dolls, which seems like an odd combination.
I’m glad that she’s interested. I think we’ll put her in the Young Stars program next year. She’s still just a little too young at this point.

Stroke is a leading cause of adult disability. Much is known about the mechanisms of cell death in stroke, but little is known about the mechanisms of recovery after a stroke. Researchers found that two proteins, stromal-derived factor 1 (SDF1) and angiopoietin 1 (Ang1), that are given off by these newly-forming blood vessels, are what trigger the thousands of immature neurons to the site of damage. the hypnosis training The SDF1 and Ang1 proteins are what link the two processes of neurogenesis and angiogenesis together by promoting post-stroke neuroblast migration. These two proteins, also appear to effect behavioral recovery as well. The researchers produced the stroke in an area of the brain that controls the mouse’s facial whiskers.
