Do you remember your Mom pulling out her calendar and writing down appointments when talking with doctors, dentists, etc? I do. Do you see people still doing this? I don’t very often. The responsibility of patients to remember and be adults seems to have shifted to the practices. The attitude that I see is that people expect a reminder card and maybe even a phone call too. It’s crazy. I wonder what has changed. Why have things changed? Regardless, I have had to purchase appointment scheduler software that will send out the “necessary reminders” automatically. And of course we give the courtesy phone call too…crazy.

Stress is a major factor for causing yeast infections. All ages can contract this bacterial infection and at any time. The Yeast Infection Cure that works better than any I have tried is garlic and yoghurt. The garlic must be taken orally either in capsule form but preferably fresh whole garlic. Chop the garlic up and eat it with parsley. Do this at least 6 times a day. You can also take a clove of garlic and insert it into the vagina, changing this clove at least eight times a day. With the live cultured plain yoghurt you can dip a tampon in the yoghurt and insert it into the vagina. Both the garlic and yoghurt relived the symptoms almost immediately.

My family and I were looking over some pictures from the late seventies. We laughed at the hair styles, polyster shirts, and platform heels. I took the opportunity to tease my husband about the tinted aviator sunglasses he used to wear. I told him that look was one of the reasons I went out with him in the first place. Just when we were having a good laugh about that, my twenty-year-old son appeared with a pair of sunglasses exactly like the ones he father wore in the photos. He told us he picked them up in New York and they had never gone out of style. I had to admit, he did look cool.

I had a very typical pregnancy. I had almost no complications and I felt great during my entire pregnancy. The only problem that I had was that I was so healthy that my baby got pretty big. Too big for me to deliver easily. The doctor that delivered him had to use the vacuum suction to help get him out. And now I need to find a brain injury lawyer. I know that I will never be able to make my baby healthy, but I want the doctor that did this to pay. I do not want it to happen to other people either.
