I have never been able to have children. This has been pretty hard on me, because ever since I was a little girl all I wanted to be was a mom. I considered adopting, but I couldn’t afford it. For a while, I was really depressed. But then my husband got me a cat. It was the best thing he could have done. She has been a wonderful companion. I am so happy with her that last year, I bought a cat mailbox in her honor. Every time people see it, they ask me if I have a cat and ask to see her. It has gotten us both a lot of friends.
