Starting a blended family is a difficult thing to do. I myself grew up in stepfamily households. Now a days they are becoming more prevalent than ever. It is not uncommon for people to get together who already have children and start a big family. One way to help with the stress is having somebody to confide in. A close friend or a trusted individual with whom you can discuss your feelings without fear of judgement. If you can keep the best mentality forward there is no reason that you can’t have a big, blended family and have lots of fun together!

I think that people who put too much faith in counseling of any kind are really being misguided, but especially when it comes to something like Christian marriage counseling I think they’re really way off base.
The way I look at things is that Jesus brings a man and woman together and then you need to take it from there. No counselor can be a substitute for living the way God intended for His church to live. Plus, I think counselors are just way too expensive. I don’t know where they get off charging so much for their so-called help in the first place.
