We remodeled our old farmhouse kitchen in the fall of 2005. The main changes we made were to the quartz kitchen countertops. What was once an orangey-yellow formica from the 60′s, became a custom stone layout and mosaic. We set the stone right on top of the existing counters, using the sturdy material as a base. We decided to install 18×18 quartz for the main counter runs, with a 2×2 slate and tumbled marble checkerboard back splash. The larger tiles are more functional for everyday use, giving us the ability to write on the counters without worrying about grout lines interfering. The smaller tiles used in the backsplash break up the monotony of the countertops.

My mother recently passed away and I am trying to deal with cleaning out all of her belongings from her home. She seems to have a lot of gold lying around, and I think it would be better to sell it since it is not my style at all. Can anyone tell me where I can find a good gold buyer in Las Vegas? I know there are a number of them available, I am just not sure which ones would be the best for me to try first. I want to get a good price for it since it is a part of my inheritance.
