My step father owns a specialized automobile business, in which he takes special orders from customers, to have their cars tailor made to their own individual needs and wants. People have various requirements when it comes to their personal source of transportation, and that’s where he comes in to be able to offer such a service. I’ve been conducting a survey on my own just out of curiosity and I have been asking people if they can show me their birth certificates and their marriage records. I’ve actually been surprised at how many people don’t know where they keep these important records! They have them somewhere, they say, but they’re just now sure where they are right now. I started doing this because I needed a copy of my birth certificate and my mother couldn’t lay her hands right on it. In fact, it took her three days to find it for me, so I got wondering how many other people were just like that.

My daughter has always been extremely independent, so when it was time for her to go to college she wanted to keep as much of the burden off of her father and me as she possibly could. She looked into student loans with no cosigner but, since she didn’t have an established credit report, that path wasn’t going very well for her. She ended up applying for and receiving several grants and scholarships instead, which made me very proud. I think what made me the proudest though was her not wanting her father and I to use our credit report to help her with some loans. Our little girl is definitely growing up.

The ripstik is one of those rare gadgets that can be used by individuals of all ages. I knew that my credit was not perfect, but I had no idea of how bad it really was. It was like someone slapped me in the face when dealership after dealership kept telling me that I did not meet their credit qualifications to secure financing. Seeing how upset I was, my friend suggested that I go online and see if I could find any companies that give Car Loans to people with bad credit. I thought that it could not hurt, so I tried it. I was able to find a company willing to take a chance on me, and I don’t intend to disappoint them.
