I am sleep’s number one fan. Getting into to bed, reading for a short time and then dozing off has been the norm for me for a very long time. Then, a few changes happened in my life over which I had no control. In the day, my normal coping strategies of repression and denial carried me through. However, at night, my racing thoughts simply would not allow me to rest. I started dreading going to bed. I was suffering from insomnia. The hours passed as I simply tossed and turned. I would stop looking at the clock and start waiting for the birds to begin their morning song and, in my sleep deprived state, it seemed as though they were taunting me.

I got a call the other day from a service that wanted me to buy into their new service called salmat vecommerce voice biometrics. We currently use an answering service and has the customer press numerous buttons to eventually get them to a more specific spot. However, this new kind of system would speed up that process and allow the patient to get the information they need sooner. This is not only good news for them, but it is good news for us. Our patients and potential customers end up being happier because they spend less time on the phone. It is a win win situation for us.

My buddy just popped the question to his longtime girlfriend and wants me to be the best man. I know he wants to hire a talented wedding photojournalist to document and make a photo story out of the day. I think the best placed to find people with this style is news and press membership web sites. There’s quite a few options, depending on what state you live in. Most have a great deal of info, including portfolios and experience working in the news business. I saw some real talented photographers who take awesome photos.
