Why Music Theory Worksheets are essential in Music Classes

Music Theory Worksheets are a very important part of music learning, no matter whether in a classroom or in a private music teaching situation. Children need a mixture of practical activities and worksheets. I’ve met teachers before who teach theory “by accident”, just when students happen to come across the theory in their practical work. The best method is to teach theory as a serious part of the curriculum – it should be taught as a matter of course, and not ignored or put in second place. It needs to be done regularly, but does not have to take a lot of time. One worksheet per lesson will do the job!
