A Few Holiday Suggestions When Camping In Australia

January 22nd, 2008

My Uncle Jay just recently came back from living in Australia for a couple years. He left on a whim to have an adventure and fully embraced the Aussies and their way of life. He came back full of holiday suggestions when camping in Australia. He’d say “Ok, first you’ve got to drop your own American Football and embrace their Aerial pingpong.” It took me awhile to figure out that this “Aerial pingpong” was Aussie lingo for Australian Rules Football, which is quite different than our own. What caught my attention, though, was his talk of watching people play the Aboriginal instrument called a Didgeridoo. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to go to Australia!
