A bonded and insured auto transport company will expertly transport your car while you travel to the destination by other means. Typically, it will take a shipped vehicle longer to arrive at the destination than it would to drive directly. Be sure to get a commitment for the latest date that it will arrive at the new location. Don’t forget to remove all personal property from the vehicle prior to transport because it is not likely to be insured by the auto transport company and may violate Department of Transport rules that prohibit Auto Transport Companies form moving household goods in vehicles.
