We are all about “pimping” our rides. We buy new cars and trucks, and then we make them even more visually appealing by changing the hubcaps and adding chrome trim. Something else that is catching on to this “pimping the ride” craze is adding a chrome air horn to top it off. So not only are you riding down the road in style, but you are sounding off in style as well.

 

First of all, chrome simply adds value onto the vehicle. Whether you’re adding new spinning hubcaps or adding chrome trim around the vehicle, that makes it more valuable. Air horns naturally make a vehicle worth more no matter what they are made of, but add a chrome air horn to your vehicle and you’re adding more value while also making sure that everything matches up. However, you have to make sure that you make your chrome air horn fit. You definitely don’t want to order a new air horn system, only to find out that it does not work no matter what you try. You have to be mindful of the air tank size, the compressor size, and where you need to place your horn. Where you place the horn determines where you place your air valve and how long you need your tubing to be. You also have to know whether or not you will need certain mounting materials if you will be mounting your air tank in a place that requires extra strong mounting.

 

There is definitely a lot to be mindful of when buying a chrome air horn. If you just buy it because it is chrome and looks great, you may have some problems down the road. If you can’t make the system fit, you might find yourself having to pack it up, return it, and waiting on a new air horn. You can avoid this through careful planning. It is then that you can properly “pimp” your ride.
