A Close Call

I was eating lunch when I got a text saying that I was going to be late for my employee development and training course. Inhaling the rest of my sub sandwich and chips, I ran as fast as I could to the elevator, which said ” out of order”. Running toward the steps, I saw all of the new employees getting ready to make there way to my course. I ran up thirteen flight of stairs huffing and puffing, fixing my suit and slicking back my hair I stood at the door. I was catching my breath while the new employees came in one by one, each one I greeted and thanked for joining my course.
