A New Stairlift will Keep Us in Our Retirement Home

When my wife came home from her stay in the hospital, walking short distances, carefully and slowly was about all she had the strength to do. The doctor said that she could not be doing stairs anymore under any circumstances. Since our bedroom and master bathroom is on the second floor, I figured we might just as well put our retirement home up for sale and look for a little ranch somewhere. My wife was determined not to leave our own dream home, so we began considering other options. An elevator would be too big and expensive, but one of the new stairlifts would work perfectly. We are being fitted next week, and then we’ll be able to stay put for years to come.
