Are you aware that there are dangers to refinancing your mortgage? If not, please read this so that you can make an informed decision on home refinancing. Just like everything in life, nothing is perfect, so don’t expect a refinance to make your life better or change it That’s the main danger of mortgage refinancing- lack of awareness. Make sure you don’t trust your broker unconditionally; you need to pick your broker carefully. You should be aware of pros and cons of the deal that’s being offered to you. The broker can help you to compare pros & cons of a lot of different options, loans & lenders. That’s their job. And be aware of mortgage brokers who practice churning - where they suggest a refinance even though the benefits don’t outweigh the drawbacks; they do this so they can get extra commissions.
