When starting a home based jewelry business, you only want to stock up the jewelry that will sell. To know what sell, you often have to do market research well.

Examples of jewelry that often sell well are the old estate type rings with the intricate scroll work and filigree formations with diamonds set in them and the old cameo necklaces and pins, especially the blue colored agate (which isn’t old, but a reproduction).

Simple necklaces with gemstones, especially the briolette cut also sell well and people also want to see some red or blue zircon earrings in a briolette cut. Some people are fond of the chandelier type earrings, since they would be gorgeous with little briolette tourmaline or zircon.
