Help! I’ve Got an Empty Office

The first time I saw my new office, I was thrilled.  Of course that was before the previous tenant moved out and took her furniture with her.  The day I started my job at a big corporate conglomerate, my secretary looked around my empty, cavernous office space and cheerfully advised me the company had a budget for office furniture, which I should use.  It took me about five minutes to go online (with a laptop perched on a card table), and find a merchant who sold fine office furniture.  The next morning my desk, sofa, bookcases and leather sofa arrived and I finally began to fill up that huge, empty space, a task which I have continued happily doing ever since.
