How Much

My wife and I are debating on how much insurance to take out on the motorcycle. My wife says to not really worry that much about the bike itself but to make sure that I have enough to cover medical and liability. I would like to make sure that I get something for the bike as well if it was involved in an accident. We live in Northern Ireland and we have only just bought the bike. We will not take it out until it is properly insured but we do not know how much to get. Motorcycle insurance in Northern Ireland should be the same as all over Ireland I would assume but I do not know how much to insure us for.
