Investing My Savings From Annuity Leads

I am going to be sixty five this year and I have been receiving information on some annuity leads for future investments.  I am still working at a full time job and do not plan on retiring just yet.  I do have a pension coming in from my previous job of eighteen years and have been looking for some helpful tips on investing it.  I plan on working as long as I can and next year I will be able to collect my social security and still earn my salary.  I also have a side job doing some writing which earns me a few extra dollars that I could invest.
