Leed Certification Requires Exacting Education And Performance

August 8th, 2009

LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a very intense and exacting green structure rating standard, that encourages companies and businesses to create green friendly edifices. In order to get leed certification, an individual or company must go through an education course and pass with information, about how to lower greenhouse gas emissions, be water and energy efficient, and also know how to maximize the quality of the indoor environment of a building, as well as being able to drastically cut back on the production of environmental footprints of construction and buildings. The pursuit of LEED is a very new and worthy endeavor.
