L.E.E.D. Exam Prep is The First Step to Becoming a Green Builder

June 28th, 2009

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accreditation is a program that is designed to rate new building construction on sustainability, efficiency, and environmental quality.  News homes and businesses that are constructed must meet all of the requirements for being green and must be built by an LEED certified contractor in order to qualify.  When I was going to take the exam to be accredited, I studied for a month and went through the L.E.E.D. exam prep course in order to be sure that I would pass.  The cost of the exam wasn’t all that inexpensive, but since it will help bring in more business over time, it will certainly pay off.
