Necessary Reminders: Appointment Scheduler Software

Do you remember your Mom pulling out her calendar and writing down appointments when talking with doctors, dentists, etc?  I do.  Do you see people still doing this?  I don’t very often.  The responsibility of patients to remember and be adults seems to have shifted to the practices.  The attitude that I see is that people expect a reminder card and maybe even a phone call too.  It’s crazy.  I wonder what has changed.  Why have things changed?  Regardless, I have had to purchase appointment scheduler software that will send out the “necessary reminders” automatically.  And of course we give the courtesy phone call too…crazy.
