seo as marketing strategy

It would be imprudent of me to pretend understanding of the web and its intricacies. My friend is ready to move her business up to another level, and is exploring ways to increase sales and enter the Internet marketing and eCommerce arenas. As I understand what I gathered from www.trinityinsight.com, seo services are services provided for “search engine optimization” to improve the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines by search results for key words. Basically, which I assume you already know, the marketing strategy is to take advantage of the fact that the more often the searchers visit the site, the higher it ranks.
