The Changing Face Of Corporate Recruiting

November 1st, 2008

Being an administrator for my company’s human resources department, I have been pondering the future of our country’s hiring techniques. I have been reading more and more about individuals who are tossing their high-paying jobs aside for personally fulfilling, lower-paying positions.

I can’t help but wonder what this will mean for the future of employee recruiting. I have been doing this job for a while, and I can remember when simply throwing high dollar amounts at potential candidates was enough to win them over. Now, things have become more complicated. There are benefits, holidays, retirement packages, and a number of other things you need to consider. But even that appears to be changing with the newest generation of workers.
