The Lawyer

So I was working at the store the other day when this high priced lawyer came in to buy office supplies for legal purposes. Of course, what else would a lawyer buy? I found it funny that he was in the store himself because usually we get a lot of secretaries running around on their lunch breaks. We almost never get actual lawyers in here. Well, he gets up to the counter and has a whole pile of stuff. When I ring him up, he actually tells me to put it on his tab. I just looked at him blankly and told him that retail stores don’t work that way and he didn’t have a tab. He looked shocked. Then he searched his wallet for small bills and eventually just handed me a hundred dollar bill, explaining that he needed change. What was I going to do, keep it as a tip?
