Thinking about Hiring Accident Lawyers Chicago

Last year I got into a car accident. I was not at fault and the person who hit me said that he would pay for all of my expenses and we did not need to file an insurance claim. I should have known better but I trusted him. He did not pay and then when I put a claim in with my insurance company he denied it. So, now I am thinking about hiring accident lawyers Chicago. I was hoping that it would not come to this, but it has and I am out a lot of money over something that was not my fault. I need someone to help me recoup my loses.
