Tips for Retaining Top Talent

There are plenty of ways for employers to be successful with their recruiting techniques in order to find the most qualified candidates. Recruiting is just the beginning. You place an add and receive hundred, sometimes thousands, of resumes. The key is to recruit top talent that you can retain. Some of the best talent is already employed. Allow your current employees to become involved in the hiring process. After all, they will be working with the new person and you want a professional and a personality fit. A quick review of your employment practices, i.e. retention strategies, reward system, work life balance, etc. will reveal strengths and weaknesses.
