Basically online book publishing is what is commonly known as “Print on Demand” publishing. Print on demand-based publishing service providers aren’t publishers in the traditional sense, but purveyors of publishing services to writers. They charge a fee for publication. Unlike commercial publishing companies they don’t routinely provide editing, proofreading, or book marketing. These companies do provide basic service for a price and often have add on service for additional fees.
