What to Promote?

So you want to do affiliate marketing. The first thing to do is to find what to promote. And it’s not as trivial as you might want it to be. Believe it or not, choosing wrong can cause severe damage to your affiliate business and even your brand!
For the time being, I will not talk about your brand, I want to talk about choosing offers from the monetary perspective. In other words, what factors there are to consider when choosing a profitable offer. That especially applies if you use PPC to get traffic.
What you need to do is to calculate your costs (to get a website, to write copy, to get traffic and so on), and calculate the possible revenue by applying a standard conservative conversion rate of 1%.
