Where can I find ira interest rates?

I am thinking of opening an ira, and I want to learn more about this. What are the advantages to iras? I am most interested in finding out the ira interest rates so that I can see how they compare with my other investments. Can anyone tell me where I can find out more about this? I want to be sure that I open the best type of ira for me, so I am doing some research to figure out what might work out well for me. Can anyone recommend a good website where I can learn about iras and the different types of accounts available?
