VoIP threw consumers off their balance because suddenly they are getting such a high quality service at highly affordable rates. Prior to VoIP, they were used to being charged high rates by the providers for the telephone services they were using. But these good rates of voip are due to the stiff competition that prevails among the providers. Due to this competition, providers want to keep the consumers pleased for which they are trying to offer many new features to them. For innovating such new and exciting features that can be offered to consumers, they are spending substantial sums on research and development.
