Consumers, though beleaguered, kept quiet without protesting when they were being charged high rates for the telephone services, prior to VoIP. Now VoIP has brought in a new life to consumers and they are getting this great and high quality service at the most reasonable rates. These good rates are the results of the stiff competition that is prevalent among voip providers. This fierce competition is again forcing the providers to take all steps to keep the consumers pleased. The most popular measure they are adopting is to launch many research programs by investing huge money in them for finding out many alluring features to be offered to consumers.
