File for Bankruptcy Six Months After You Take Credit Counseling
January 20th, 2011
Marsha and Nathan had purchased a home a few years ago. It was beyond their means, but they thought if they both worked hard they would be able to make the payments. When Marsha lost her job, they thought that she would be able to find another job right away. Marsha was not able to find employment. They got behind on the house payments, utilities, and their car payments. When the first car got repossessed they were very worried. Nathan told Marsha that they would need to take credit counseling for bankruptcy so that they could file for bankruptcy in six months.
