Can a laptop computer really negatively affect a man’s ability to reproduce? According to a recent study by researchers at the State University of New York, there is a direct correlation between prolonged laptop use and increased temperature in the scrotum. It was found that temperature can be increased by up to 35˚ when using laptop computers in certain positions on the lap. High temperature is known to be a cause for infertility in men. Since it is found that laptop computer has a harmful effect on the process of male gamete formation, leave the laptop off your lap if you are trying to conceive.
