How much should you pay for a kids electric toothbrush?

May 22nd, 2010

Getting your children a kids electric toothbrush is one of the best gifts you can give them. Teaching them from an early age to take good dental care can save them a lot of pain later in life.

How much should you pay for one of these though? With models ranging between $5 right up to $60, it can be a tough decision.

The more expensive models, like the Philips Sonicare, comes with plenty of bells and whistles and also build quality lacking in the cheaper models. Of course they also last longer, so you have to balance that with the fact that you may have to repurchase the cheaper models more often.

Ultimately, it comes down in a big way to what your child enjoys using. If it takes a $60 toothbrush to get them to brush their teeth regularly, then you have to go for that.
