Who says gym is the only option for staying healthy? After all there were no gyms in ancient times and yet people stayed healthy all through their lives. The problem with people these days is that they have gotten into an extremely busy lifestyle accompanied with fast food culture. There is no physical activity as most of the jobs are sedentary. However, there are a few simple things that you could do to maintain your health. Firstly, avoid escalators and lifts as much as possible and take stairs wherever feasible. Secondly, make it a habit to munch on sprouts or fruits rather than burgers and fries to avoid extra calories.
You should also ensure that you are having a balanced diet with sufficient proteins, vitamins and minerals. Thirdly, make sure you play with your children and your pets even if you are very tired from work. Destress with a long bath and some bath crystals.
