Bleeding Gums Must go!
December 5th, 2008
It is not normal for your fingers to bleed and it is also not normal for your gum tissue to bleed when brushing, flossing or during any other activities.
What is the cause of bleeding gums ? Most of the time, it has to do with gum disease! Gum disease is a bacterial infection of the gums that comes from the build up of anaerobic bacteria on your teeth and gum line. Flossing and brushing are part of your daily protocol that are aimed directly at stopping bleeding gums. But do they always work? Considering the amount of people that walk around with gum disease today, maybe more is needed than just brushing and flossing.
