Coral calcium — don’t forget those trace minerals!

February 7th, 2008

Do you know what trace minerals are? Trace minerals are minerals which are present in small amounts — in some cases miniscule amounts — in our bodies. But don’t let that fool you: trace minerals are absolutely essential to the proper functioning of the human body. And that’s one of the reasons why I take coral calcium — in addition to being a high source of calcium it also contains magnesium and other very helpful trace minerals. Some manufacturers also include a vitamin D supplement in it as well. If you are taking these tablets you can be assured that your body is getting a very helpful dose of at least a few trace minerals.
