Does calorie counting work in reality or is it just there to depress us?

August 30th, 2008

If you take the simple mathematical formula for the amount of calories you have consumed and the amount you have burned in a day, the answer is yes, it works. The way in which people naively fail to make the most of the calorie counting technique is to be ignorant as to how many calories they have burned. If for example you consume 2100 calories, having set a max of 2000, you need to know what is going to effectively remove the extra 100 from your system. This is the essential part which can turn it all around for you. Using many modern gym equipments you will soon discover how many calories you are actually burning.
