Famous People And Ulcerative Colitis

There are various famous people with ulcerative colitis who have been fighting this disease since years. For instance, Rolf Benirschke (Former NFL Placekicker for the San Diego Chargers) spent approximately 10 great years playing and setting all kinds of records. The best part is that he played even though he was suffering with ulcerative colitis. During the last seven years of his career, he played after getting his ostomy surgery. Usually, famous people with ulcerative colitis prefer to keep quiet about their ailments, since it can be very embarrassing and do not prefer any kind of publicity in this context.
