The best way to deal with food cravings is not to try to deal with them directly. That is you need to spend some time analyzing what is going on with you mentally, physically and emotionally before the cravings appear. You can use the awareness of these triggers to deal with your cravings by dealing with them first. To keep honest with this exercise you should write down what you believe your food craving triggers are.
