Herbal Remedies for Headaches

January 21st, 2008

It is estimated that up to 95% of men and women will suffer from at least one headache this year. The medical community recognizes two different types of headaches, primary and secondary. Primary headaches are those which are not caused by an underlying medical condition. Secondary headaches are those caused by underlying medical conditions. If you have continuing headaches or headaches that interrupt your life you may need to seek the help of a medical professional. If your headaches are diagnosed as primary you can seek herbal remedies to help prevent them. Feverfew, Peppermint oil and Ginkgo Biloba are recommended herbs which can help headache sufferers obtain relief.
