How painful is Laser Hair Removal?

September 27th, 2009

Since pain is relative due to people’s different tolerance levels for it, it would be a better approach to compare the pain with other methods for hair removal like waxing. Waxing can be pretty painful as it rips the hair from the root. laser hair removal, on the other hand, has the sensation that resembles that of the snap of a rubber band. Every time a laser pulse hits your skin, you will experience that rubber band snap sensation. To lessen the pain during a treatment a topical cream can be used along with a cooling device that is to be pointed to the treated area.
