I Needed to Use a Walker After Knee Surgery.

December 4th, 2008

About three months ago I had a total knee replacement surgery done on my right knee. I was scared to death. When I came out of the anesthetic, I thought I would have crutches, but they gave me a folding walker to use instead. They said it was much more stable and would give me more mobility than crutches would, because I was in a total leg brace from my hip to my ankle. I actually got to be quite handy with my walker. I have developed callouses on the heals of my hands from having used it so much. I might just have to go and get a pedicure on my hands!
