Mood swings and a loss of concentration are part of the side effects of not getting enough sleep. This is one important value of sleep to health. Having insufficient sleep will also make you not to function well. Sleep is important to the brain for it will make it function normally and sleep makes your brain healthy. Your brain is responsible for the actions that you do. Every system of your body is also relying to the brain. Your brain would need a lot of energy to be able to do this smoothly. That is why people would say that sleep is health. If having trouble sleeping it would be best to have a sleeping aid, your body and brain would thank you for it.
