Natural health focuses on nitric oxide to lower blood pressure

Scientists have discovered a key to natural health in nitric oxide to lower blood pressure and cholesterol. It has long been known that natural practices like listening to relaxing music and deep, slow breathing can produce effects like lower blood pressure and cholesterol. But scientists always rejected these claims because they could find no physical explanation for these effects.
Now they think they have found the answer. Breathing affects the production of nitric oxide in the bloodstream. Nitric oxide is an important substance that regulates blood flow, among other things. Under stress we tend to breathe quickly and shallowly and we even hold our breath. This decreases nitric oxide which unbalances blood chemistry. thus raising blood pressure.
A few minutes of slow breathing stimulates the release of nitric oxide and rebalances blood chemistry and pressure. Nitric oxide may be the missing key to natural health.
