You’ve got to be really careful about supplementing with iron. Take too much and it can build up in your body. That’s something most people don’t realize. But by the same token, a lot of people are iron deficient. It’s a good idea to get a blood test from your doctor if you’re tired and pale all the time. It might just be an iron deficiency. Then you’ll know exactly how many iron tablets you’ll need to take.

Actually, the best way to get iron is through your food, and Jim Brown’s nutrition article on iron explains the options really well. I love juicing actually. It’s the best way to get enzymes and nutrients, more fun than taking a vitamin tablet. Even if you’ve got a mess to clean up afterwards! It’s hard to go back to store bought juice after that.
